This is where the individual does not know
something and does not know he/she does not
know. An example of this is the person who
has a mechanical problem in his or her car.
The person picks up the hood and not until
then does he or she realize that they did
not know that they were ignorant about fixing
the car.
This is also like the student who goes to
a test thinking they know the material and
when they get the test questions they realize
that they were mistaken and did not realize
that they did not know the material
2) Known Ignorance
This is where the individual knows that they
do not know something. This is like the student
who knows he or she does not know the material
on the algebra test tomorrow.
3) Known Knowledge
In this example we can imagine a new driver
who has leaned how to drive a stick shift.
this person knows how to drive the car and
is thinking how to drive and when to clutch.
4) Automatic Knowledge
This person knows something so well it is
automatic. The swimmer who swims without
having to think, the same car drive as above
but know after driving for some time it becomes
automatic. Another example of this in a students
field is the student who studied hard to
learn match and know it comes automatically
when applying it to scientific research.
Learning with both left and right brain brings
about automatic knowledge faster and easier
through visualization.
