FEAR AND PHOBIAS

Most people are afraid because they had a similar experience that scared them.
If you are afraid to ride an elevator or ride in an airplane the following NLP technique can help.

Try to remember the first time you were afraid to do what you are now afraid of. For example, if you are afraid to ride in a car, try to remember the past experience that made you afraid. If it was an accident for example, remember the accident and see everything that happened in your mind.
Than see it backwards. Go from the end of the accident to the beginning, Do this again, but faster, and again but faster yet. After doing this for a few times the fear of the situation decreases.
