I just wanted to give you an update. I received
the tapes early on last week, had the opportunity
to listen to them twice through. Went to
a rodeo on Sunday and won first place and
a nice check $. A person had videod my run,
and I could clearly see that I indeed looked
up from each barrel and off the third barrel
I looked up and home. This is something which
I had been having some problems with.
CLAUSTROPHOBIA AND COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET
At the time of this case I shared an office
with a psychiatrist on the fifth floor. The
psychiatrist asked me to see this case. There
was a young man who would walk up the five
flights to see me. A very interesting case
of a young man who was afraid to go in a
car for a long trip and and afraid of elevators
or any closed space. After two sessions the
problem came out that at the age of five
he had a homosexual activity with another
child his age. He had heard the expression
"coming out of the closet" and
took it literally. He was afraid of closed
spaces (closets). Soon after he understood
the situation and now is no longer afraid
of closed spaces.
