People with anorexia nervosa literally starve

caloric intake. Symptoms include significant
weight loss, loss of menstruation, dry skin,
sallow complexion, and an intense fear of
gaining weight, even when underweight.
Sometimes they will exercise excessively
as a means of losing weight
